Product Design

End-to-end product design from discovery to launch. We align user needs with business goals to create digital products people pay for, return to daily, and recommend to others.

How we help

Product design is the discipline that sits between business strategy and interface design. It's about understanding what people actually need (often different from what they say they want), defining the right scope, and creating something that solves a real problem in a way that's both usable and commercially viable.

How we work

1

Product Discovery & Problem Definition

Stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, and market research to define the problem space precisely before proposing any solution.

2

User Research & Jobs-to-be-done

Deep qualitative research with target users to understand their motivations, workflows, and the outcomes they're trying to achieve — not just their stated preferences.

3

MVP Scoping & Prioritisation

Ruthless prioritisation of features using impact/effort frameworks. We define the smallest product that could validate your core hypothesis and generate real learning.

4

Interaction & Motion Design

Detailed interaction design covering every state, transition, and edge case. Motion design that communicates hierarchy and system status without being distracting.

5

Design System Creation

A scalable component system that lets your engineering team build consistently and lets your design team iterate rapidly without starting from scratch each time.

6

Validation & Iteration

Usability testing, A/B testing frameworks, and analytics instrumentation designed into the product from day one — so every release generates actionable data.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What's the difference between product design and UX design?

UX design focuses on the user experience layer — research, flows, and interfaces. Product design is broader: it encompasses strategy, scoping, prioritisation, and the business model alongside the UX. A product designer thinks about what to build, not just how to build it.

Can you work with an existing product team?

Yes — we regularly embed with in-house product and engineering teams, either leading design or augmenting existing capacity. We adapt to your process rather than imposing ours.

Do you do market validation?

We help define validation experiments and design the product to generate learning, but we don't conduct market validation independently. We work closely with your team on this.

How do you handle competing stakeholder opinions?

We use structured decision-making frameworks and tie every design decision back to user research and business goals. When stakeholders disagree, we design tests to get data rather than opinions.

Do you stay involved after launch?

Yes — we offer post-launch design retainers covering analytics review, iteration cycles, and new feature design. The best product work happens in the months after launch, not before.

Have a project in mind?
